Hi everyone.

I recently replaced the power supply in my iMac G5. When the computer has been unplugged for a while, it won't boot immediately. I have to press the power button several times or hold the button down. It doesn't do this after it's been plugged in and booted initially. It acts normally then.

This is a 17" 1.8 GHz G5 - one of the first ones. I had a 20" a few years ago with the same problem after a power supply replacement. But Apple did that repair.

Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to fix it? I'm thinking about selling this Mac and I don't want the purchaser to freak out when it arrives.

Thanks for your help!
Jon
