Matshita DVD-R UJ 845

Hi All

I know this topic has been discussed before but I seem to be having trouble burning to DVD media with the Matshita DVD-R UJ 845 drive on my imac G5. I have burned successfully to Think Xtra DVD+RW DVDs but only if the DVD is new, the driver will not let me overwrite a DVD that already has something on it, although the media should be re-writable. I also cannot write to Verbatim DVD+RW dvds at all. Can anyone recommend any media that the driver will write to both from new and as overwrite? It gets kind of expensive to keep buying new media on the off chance!!!

I had problems with media on my MacBook Pro. I ended up buying Ritek and they have been working fine.
