Well what do you think?

Discount the fact that it's not wireless at this time, obviously that's a whole 'nother mouse. :D

I'm having no scroll down in iPhoto, scroll up is fine.

Anyone else? I'm up to date and rebooted.

It's probably iPhoto glitch.

Outside of that I can't find anything wrong with this mouse.

I do worry the ball will get gunked up though.

Vertical scroll works fine in iPhoto for me.

Well, it's lovely - looks just right next to my iMac - big aesthetic improvement on my old Logitech mouse, and the scroll button is great.
BUT...
The squeeze buttons are a nightmare. The left one (thumb-side for us right handers) is fine, but the right hand button is very badly placed and seems designed to induce 'mouse-wrist' problems.
And then of course there's the cable....... ;)

Well you all know by know I dissected mine as I didn't like the horizontal scrolling (I think it was malfunctioning), plus I felt rushed using it.

Back to my old faithful one button mouse, I guess I will need to stock up on a few if Apple phases them out. :(

Good: matches the system, finally has second "button", finally has scroll.

Bad: side switch is impossible to use, potential problems with dirty scroll ball in future, should be wireless at that price (a good Logitech wired wheel mouse is 40% the cost of the Mighty Mouse -- a bit too much Apple premium IMHO).

Here's a review from Macworld.

http://www.macworld.com/2005/08/reviews ... /index.php

3 1/2 mice. Well, I guess they thought it was okay, but above par.

I might just get one. I wonder if it will be PC compatible as well?

I do not like mice in any form. I love my (shudder) Microsoft 4-button, wheel optical trackball. I just rest my hand on the curved surface and can control everything, including browser back without moving my hand anywhere.

I tried the Apple mouse that came with my G5 and if it had four buttons, a wheel, and was an optical trackball, I'd use it.

I tried one at the Apple store that last time I was there. If you gave me one for free I'd just put it on eBay. I think Apple missed the bus on this one. The scroll wheel sucks (in my opinion) and there are only two "buttons." What does Apple have against buttons to make their mice more functional? I am currently using a Logitech MX1000 and LOVE it.

Next.......

There are actually 4 buttons on the mouse. Left, Right, Middle and the 2 sides which are really one. I love the scroller. Just replaced a Logitech 900mx with the Might Mouse. I love it. Works perfect for me.

Some people like day and some like night. That's what makes the world go 'round.

Yes but...I like night AND day, that's why one job is at night and other is in the day...but I love my G5! Can't wait for my next one in a few years.

My daughter gave me a mighty mouse for Christmas. I really love this thing. I had forgotten how much I use a multi-function mouse when available.
