Having a variety of issues -

1) DISPLAY OF MENUS ETC

There's got to be a way to increase the font or at least the visibility of the menu windows in MAC -- on a 27 inch screen they are almost lost.

I found a way to increase the size of them -- not the font -- and the next time MAC remembered but now it doesn't.

2) PRINTER DRIVERS

Can't seem to get my HP 1020 LASER PRINTER WORKING WITH MAC

3) MAINTENANCE TOOLS

Do I need tools like Cocktail or Drive Genius or tech tools.

Larger fonts for visibility -- this has been asked and sometimes promised for several OS versions now. Windows does it, why not a Mac?

Printer drivers -- can't address yours specifically. Did you check for drivers on the HP website?

Maintenance tools -- generally not needed. I have Onyx installed and have used it to change some options otherwise not available except via command line hacks. Also good to clean corrupted caches. OS X does daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks on its own.

Turns out Leopard supported my printer but snow leopard doesn't. Go figure.

If you set the resolution of the screen smaller, the menu fonts will enlarge.
