Having already caused my self a couple of problems installing bootcamp, can someone please explain a few basics for me please, Like:

what's the difference between running windows with Boot camp and VMfusion (which I have)? I read that bootcamp and VMfusion can work together, ie install VMfusion on a Bootcamp partition, and finally, should I bother changing, is one better than the other?

many thanks i advance

I use VMware Fusion to run Windows and Linux. I like this better than Boot Camp for two reasons. First, I can run all of them at once. Second, I can run versions of Windows and Linux that will not work in Boot Camp.

I can only think of two advantages to Boot Camp. It is the only way to run Windows on a Mac without OS X in the background, and the full performance capability of the hardware is available to whatever OS is running.
