Why can't I copy or burn pics in iPhoto?

I may have been a little sketchy on my previous instructions. I have modified the original post to clarify the dialog that pops up when launching iPhoto with the option(ALT) key depressed.

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.


Yes, Rick, it took a lot of control and effort on my part to type (ALT).

Yes, it is confusing. The Heading for the section is "Manually rebuilding the library", while step 2. says, "When prompted, select the option to create a new library." It's just that "Rebuilding" and "creating a new library" sound rather synonymous hear.

My bad.

I should have said follow KC's instructions.

Q: Which is iPhoto v6.0.6 in iLife '06, or iLife '08?
