single largest file size in imovies....;.

hello all you will be please to know that after friday all my worrys are over as i will be getting what this darn computer was built for e.g finnal cut pro HD
However do you know what the largest single size of file you can import into imovies (not a quick time one, an old premiere .mov one that imovies converts...) HELP this is urgent..... :lol:

What size is the file you are trying to import...is it giving you errors?

the file size is 1.8gb... not exactly errors more a kind of annoying winge.... :lol:

iMovie 4 or HD?

In the Apple Discussion, people have stated that they imported files from their cameras at 10GB.

C
