Yes you are. Okay, we all know you want a new Power Mac, so, what would you want inside of it? Just how much would you want it to do? How much power would you want? Pick one of the options and then let us know in detail.

As for myself, I want every possible feature, maxed out RAM and hard drive space, and process speed. ^^

I already have it, purchased a month or two ago. Enjoying the heck out of it too. Wish I had switched sooner!

Many people wish that they have switched sooner, but doesn't it feel great to actually get on the bandwagon now? lol

I must admit... I have used PCs in my life. It's blasphemy, I know, but I had to understand why people wanted to use Windows all of the time. Well... turns out that it was the same reason people smoke. And... I'm not a smoker, so it wasn't long before I went back to Macs. ;)

I've just about got my system where I want it. I have 8GB of RAM now, a Radeon X800 and a nice 24" LCD. Not much more I can do for now.

Dude, if you need more than 8GB, I'd sure like to know what you're doing... the government needs techies... I think.

I think . . . that the extra ram that is not used by the OS and or applications, can be used as part of the swap file, but much faster. That is how I view the extra portion in my machine. In time it will be used regardless . . . as the OS and Apps grow or get smarter in the use of larger amounts of RAM available.

Was it not said that one can not be too thin, nor have too much RAM?
