System Directory?

These may be stupid questions, but here goes:

Does my Mac have a System Directory?

If so, why would I want to access it?

How would I access it?

There is a /System directory which contains a global Library directory. Normally you would have no reason to access it. You can access any directory from Finder from the Go menu, "Go to Folder..."
