Hi,
Since I've installed Snow Leopard, I can't use my webcam anymore:
I own a MBP C2D 2,5Ghz (late 2008).
Whenever I use Ichat, Photo booth or go any flash chatrooms, the green LED turn on but the screen stay black.
On the System Informations board, I can see that the Isight is recognized in the USB device list.
I don't use any other devices (even a mouse) and I can't find a way to fix it.
By using the flash menu at a chatroom website, I've select USB device and I was surprised that it was set by default to DVC Pro Camcorder. So it make me think that it maybe a conflict between Final Cut Pro preferences and Isight one.
I've also tried to reset the SMU by unplugging power and battery and pressing the On button 10 sec before replug everything.
Still it's stay black.
Anyone got an Idea?

Thanks.

What do you see in the iChat preferences? Does it show two cameras?

When I open the preferences window of Ichat, i can only choose the microphone input. As i don't have other connected devices, I guess it choose the Isight by default. I don't have the camera button to choose other device.
I'm going to repair authorizations but I doubt it will do any good.

Thanks, I've been through this help from apple support but it doesn't work.
I ve just tried to repair all authorizations with Onyx and tried to log on a guest account and it doesn't work.
Seems that I'll have to contact apple services but as i my warranty expired 4 months ago, I wonder how it will cost me...
Anyway thanks for your help Mr. Snow and Happy New Year :). I really appreciate the quick response here.
